Arroyo Willow
Ever seen a Arroyo Willow a.k.a Salix lasiolepis ? Well, if you've ever been to Rocklin, California then there's a chance that you've come across it. The Arroyo Willow is considered to be a large shrub, or a small tree with multiple trunks. It grows up to thirty-three feet tall so if you have it growing near your home, then it will most likely get into your gutter system especially if you have a 1 to 2 story home as the leaves are up to 5 inches long. The flowers that grow on this tree are yellow and bloom between the month of February and May. These flowers have medicinal properties and were used by the indigenous people as remedies for several diseases. If an Arroyo Willow is on your property and at least the height of your gutters, then we recommend having your gutters cleaned at least once a year.
